WHAT IS A HIPPIE?

Young people may have heard of Hippies but don’t know who they are or what defined them.

Superficially they had long hair, hairy armpits, drove VW vans and smoked pot. Actually, they were practicums of free love, and of course abortion, they espoused radical, Marxist ideology, and they thumbed their noses at traditional family values.

Where are they now? They are in Washington running our government.
